    Hi Gunter,

    The oiltank is as clean as its left the factory.
    I first tried to de-grease the tank with some industrial de-greaser but this only made the sludge more soft.
    Then I tried you're solution, worked fine.

    Hi Andreas,

    I have tried this last weekend, the only thing which cleaned up very nice was myself.
    I had also some good result with a fueltank some years ago but the sludge and sand in the oiltank is quit sticky.

    Hi,

    I have bought an oiltank some time ago. The previous owner has sandblasted it to get rid of the old paint.
    As I allready suspected the inside of the oiltank is covered in sludge and a lot of sand.
    Is anybody having some experience with this ?
    Is there any solvent or anything to get rid of the sludge and sand ?

    Yes they are quit rare, I have several of these floatbowls but non of them is a 0 degree.
    There is someone in France who I met some years ago which is making these floatbowls but they cost over a 1000,- Euro which is to much for me.
    Isn't it an idea to see if it is worth to make a small batch of these ourselves ??

    I am missing some parts and I have seen that there are also marelli parts mounted.
    I have no idea how thess FF1 should look with original parts, so I am after pictures, parts lists, foto's, etc...

    I know drawing M2901 because I have a 1930 Ulster model 100mpH.
    So I will go for M2904 or M2905.
    I have bought a lot of 1930 spares and when I have collected them I will have a look what type of pedals are there.

    I want to change the handchange gearbox of my 1930 special into a footchange gearbox. I have allready a modified gearbox.
    Can someone help me with some foto's or any technical details how the crossover spindel and footchange pedal is fitted into the cradleplates ?
